Lack of scalability

The client’s in-house team developed an MVP for their product, quickly attracting over 2 million users. Chingari’s popularity continued to soar, but its architecture struggled to keep up. At some point, when daily users surged to 10 million, the system couldn’t support the load. It led to software failures that negatively impacted the user experience, prompting the company to address the scalability issue.

Architectural changes

Given the challenges with scaling and the ambition to roll out a wide array of features, the client chose to switch to a microservices architecture. Our team orchestrated a seamless migration for Chingari to microservices, ensuring zero downtime. We broke down the monolithic system into small, more manageable services containerized and migrated to Kubernetes for efficient deployment and scaling.
