The main challenge was data compatibility — connecting the legacy EHR system to Salesforce Health Cloud while maintaining real-time data flow and strict HIPAA compliance across all patient touchpoints.
UppLabs built a FHIR-based data integration layer with Mirth Connect middleware for real-time sync, a multi-layered security model (OAuth 2.0, AES, SSL/TLS, RBAC), and a cross-platform React Native mobile app with Salesforce Mobile SDK.
